Often times, I like to use the ‘more of’ technique rather than just going directly at a Law of Attraction goal…
For most of us, it can be a pretty big and hard to believe stretch of the imagination to believe that something will be delivered our way all at once just because we’ve aligned our energy correctly, but we do seem to be able to accept ‘more of’ something coming our way with much less resistance.
Let me give you a quick exercise to help demonstrate this.
As an example, let’s say you desire to have a more fit body…
Take a piece of paper and write ‘the feeling of having a fit body’ on the paper (remember it’s our feelings about what we’re thinking about that creates our vibration).
Now, hold the paper in your hand, focus your attention on what it says and say to yourself, “I want more of this feeling of having a fit body”.
It probably feels pretty good saying that… which means you’re probably in, or very close to being in, vibrational alignment with having ‘more of’ this feeling of having a fit body.
Now, holding that same piece of paper, focus your attention on what it says and say to yourself, “I want this feeling of having a fit body”. We’re talking about the whole feeling here, meaning you are there, you feel like you already have that fit body.
And for most of us this probably feels like, “Yeah, right! Keep dreaming!”, which means you are absolutely not in vibrational alignment with having that whole feeling, nor even a part of it… and that you haven’t moved even a step closer to your goal.
Wouldn’t you prefer to have ‘more of’ your goal and to move a step closer to it than to have none of it all?
I want to add this note because it’s an often misunderstood piece of the Law of Attraction:
Once you become aligned with the feeling of having a fit body, this most likely doesn’t mean that you will magically wake up one morning with a more fit body, but what it does mean is that you will start to notice the means in which you could start getting a more fit body showing up for you. Maybe you’ll notice an exercise class that actually sounds like fun to you, or maybe you’ll learn of some new nutritional information that could help you reach your goal. There are infinite paths and ways that the Law of Attraction can deliver your request your way.
