Beautiful healthy skin is one of the keys to ageless beauty. It’s one of the first things we see when we look in the mirror and one of the first things others see when they look at us, and the condition of our skin can tell a lot about us… including our age.
There is no doubt that there are changes in the skin as we circle around the sun each year, and many of these changes are just the course of nature… nothing wrong with that.
That being said… there is also nothing wrong with using products and tools that can slow that process, and, in some cases, even reverse some of the effects of that process.
Which brings me to the product I want to share with you today… The Trophy Skin RejuvaliteMD LED Light Therapy Device.
Trophy Skin was founded by Imran Karim, former owner of one of Texas’s most prominent med-spas.
Inspired by the amazing effects of non-invasive beauty technology and his clients desires to achieve the same benefits at home, Imran sold his med-spa and began developing Trophy Skin.
One of the many devices Trophy Skin now offers is the the RejuvaliteMD, an LED Light Therapy device.
LED Light Therapy is a technology that has been used in plastic surgeons and dermatologists offices to support the skin’s natural healing processes for some time now. LED Light Therapy uses safe visible and infrared light wavelengths which penetrate the skin and stimulate the production of natural enzymes that increase collagen production, reduce inflammation, and improve skin tone and texture.
The RejuvaliteMD device is unique in that it uses not just one, but four wavelengths of light which each penetrate the skin at different levels.
From Trophy Skin:
“Unlike some devices that use only red light, RejuvaliteMD utilizes four UV-free wavelengths including red, yellow, amber, and infrared light to effectively treat multiple signs of aging.
RejuvaliteMD contains a 120 LED bulb panel which is split evenly between the Red (660nm), Yellow (590nm), Amber (630nm), and Infrared (880nm) bulbs which penetrate the skin at different levels resulting in cellular level changes. This helps spur the creation of new collagen, elastin, and fibroblasts.”
The RejuvaliteMD is a hands-free device and the design consists of a heavy base (wont tip over), an extremely flexible neck that allows you to position the device at almost any angle, and the light panel itself.
The device is FDA cleared (this is not the case with all LED home use devices) and it shuts off automatically after 5 minutes use.
Note: The light we are talking about here is the red light and it is used for anti-aging. Trophy Skin also carries this device with the blue light which is used for treating acne.
My Thoughts and Experience
I’ve used other LED Light Therapy devices before, but let me tell you… from the moment I saw the RejuvaliteMD, I knew I was looking at a device that was much different than the others.
I’m already sold on LED Light Therapy and actually loved the other devices I have used, but there were two little problems with them. They took so much time and I didn’t always feel like spending all that time holding a device up to my skin.
You see… the other devices I have used (and most on the market) are small hand held devices in which you pass the unit over a small area of skin for 3-5 minutes and then move on to the next small area of skin. Depending on the size of the unit, you could be treating several small areas of skin, and, at three to five minutes per area, the time adds up.
The RejuvaliteMD takes just 5 minutes, 1 or 2 times per day, and it’s totally hands-free!
I should also share that it’s a totally relaxing experience. You can not feel the light rays.
And now, my results…
I’ve been using the device 4-5 times per week for almost 8 weeks now.
Right from the first couple of weeks, I noticed a healthier glow to my skin. This is due to the increased circulation from the use of the device.
At 8 weeks, I think I may be seeing just a bit of softening of the lines around my eyes, but I’m also thinking it’s still too soon to tell all the improvements that have been made (although I am certain they are being made).
The truth is, one of the biggest benefits of LED Light Therapy for skin care is that it stimulates the production of new collagen. New collagen can be slow to grow, taking 3 months or more to show its effects, and this is especially so in more mature skin.
If I were to tell you of some dramatic results, or share dramatic pictures of results, it would be me trying to sway you on a brand through overhyping it.
The only way I could share dramatic results or share dramatic pictures is by waiting four to six months to share this wonderful tool with you and I’m not going to do that… I will, however, provide an update (with pics) down the road.
Time: Only 5-10 minutes 3-5 times per week. We can all make that much time available to pamper ourselves. I use my Trophy Skin time as me time. I put on some nice relaxing music or an Abraham Hicks Law of Attraction YouTube session that I want to listen to, cover my eyes with the goggles included with the device, and just chill for 10 minutes.
Great Customer Service: While recommended use is 5 minutes 2x per day, I like to do my 2 sessions back to back for a total of 10 minutes of chill time. I reached out to Trophy Skin to confirm if this was okay and I got an answer straight from the founder saying, “Yes, it is fine”. That is awesome customer service!
So easy to use: It’s hands free so all you need to do is lay back (put on the goggles that are included) and relax… (This ease of use also means you will be more likely to stick to using the device)
Well-constructed and solid device: Don’t let the idea of this being a home use device fool you. This thing is solid, from the solid base that will not tip over to the flexible neck which can safely be moved into any position you would need.
The real deal: With 120 medical-grade LEDs putting out 100mW per centimeter square, this device has the power to actually achieve the results you want. (Not all LED devices put out this much power)
Storage: The unit is a bit big and, with the long adjustable neck, it can take up a pretty large space. It’s not one of those units you can tuck away in a drawer or leave on a smaller counter. I don’t think it’s a big deal, and, for me, the convenience of this hands-free unit more than makes up for this, but, for some, this could be an issue.
The cord could be longer: There have been a few times I wanted to use the device while laying back on my rather high bed and had to stay close to the edge of the bed for the cord to reach the electrical socket. A slightly longer cord would give me more flexibility with this.
Wrapping it up
My purpose in this review is not to sway you with dramatic results as much as to introduce you to LED Light Therapy and also introduce you to what I feel is a great LED Light Therapy unit.
I love the RejuvaliteMD!! I absolutely love it! The RejuvaliteMD is my LED Light Therapy device of choice and I can highly recommend the device as well as the brand.

The RejuvaliteMD sells for $249 and can be found on the Trophy Skin website as well as at many beauty and skincare stores.
